RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY INSURANCE — PRACTICAL ACTIVITIES AND RESULTS
“KAFIL-SUG‘URTA” JSC continues its systematic efforts to expand residential property insurance coverage, promote insurance services across the regions, and develop more accessible and convenient service mechanisms for the population.
👍 For this purpose, from 21 to 24 September, a comprehensive business visit was organized in Sokh District of Fergana Region to develop residential property insurance and other types of insurance services.
The initiatives in this area were implemented by Ilhomjon Inomovich Jalolov, Manager of the Insurance Services Development Department. Particular attention was paid to developing insurance services in the district, working directly with residents, and introducing practical insurance mechanisms.
At the initial stage, selected candidates and insurance agents were brought together in cooperation with the local administration, mahalla citizens’ assemblies, and the Youth Affairs Agency. A special training seminar on insurance products, sales techniques, and effective communication with residents was conducted for them.
⚡ At the next stage, organizational cooperation was established with the Sokh District administration, law enforcement agencies, and responsible organizations. During an expanded meeting attended by district officials and mahalla chairpersons, specific tasks were defined to accelerate residential property insurance, strengthen practical support at the local level, and broaden the coverage of insurance services.
📈 From 22 to 24 September, door-to-door insurance activities were carried out in Yangiariq Mahalla, Bog‘bon Street, and other areas, resulting in 19 residential property insurance contracts being issued. The insured amount for each household was UZS 50 million, with an annual insurance premium of UZS 200,000.
📊 In parallel with residential property insurance activities, public awareness work was also conducted on voluntary motor insurance (CASCO) and compulsory motor third-party liability insurance (OSAGO). The expiry dates of existing OSAGO policies were entered into a separate database, enabling a follow-up insurance mechanism when those policies expire.
🔖 Particular attention was also given to cooperation with enterprises and organizations during the business visit. Specifically, 2 OSGOR contracts were issued, and agreements were reached to renew OSGOR and OPO policies of public-sector organizations through “KAFIL-SUG‘URTA” JSC as their existing policies expire.
In addition, cooperation was agreed on insurance for construction and hydropower facilities, accident insurance for workers, and construction and installation risk insurance.
As a result of these practical activities, specific results were achieved in residential property insurance, while new areas of cooperation with enterprises and organizations were established. These efforts contribute to improving insurance awareness, expanding reliable financial protection for the population, and bringing insurance services closer to every household.
